Som avrundning vill jag via “Skivor till döddagar” spela en låt för alla som älskar musik med lite klös i. För många år sedan skrev Cock Sparrer en låt om skivbolag och skivbolagsanställda. “Take ‘em all” är precis lika aktuell nu som då. Jag önskar att det fanns en länk till den ursprungliga versionen på youtube eller någon annan site som jag kunde hitta i hastigheten. Ni som inte hört den, gräv lite på nätet, det är en utmärkt allsångslåt. Försök gärna skicka killarna en slant också, om inte annat så genom att köpa någon av deras plattor. De håller fortfarande på. De är fortfarande förbannade. De är en bra förebild, för om de kan vara totalförbannade över orättvisor ända från 70-talet till nu, så kan vi hålla ilskan kokande över våra lokala mutkolvar till politiker fram till nästa riksdagsval, och kasta ut dem på arslet. Gotta er åt den tanken i mellandagarna.
Mellandagarna må vara över, men bättre sent än aldrig:
Skivbolagen har aldrig stått på artisternas sida. Det fina är att med modern informationsteknologi kan vi faktiskt bli av med dem utan att ta till vapen. Kanske är det därför de är så rädda att de känner sig tvungna att förvandla rättsstater till polisstater för att skydda sina ekonomiska intressen?
