Jag har inte hängt med i RSS-läsaren på ett tag nu, dels beror det på en segdragen förkylning som får hjärnan att kännas som potatismos (köpepulver, inte hemgjord) och dels beror det på att jag var tvungen att installera Windows XP igen så jag kunde prova Fallout 3 (sjukt bra spel BTW, inte perfekt men betyget 9 av 10 känns givet).
Först igår installerade jag Ubuntu igen, och det var en riktig befrielse. Windows känns på fullaste allvar så tråkigt, oflexibelt och frustrerande jobbigt att använda att jag inte kände någon lust eller inspiration till att göra någonting alls på datorn – trots att både bloggskrivande och att läsa RSS-flöden i Google Reader är webbaserat och följaktligen går att göra i vilket operativsystem som helst.
(Om jag verkar svamlig och ogrammatisk så skyller jag på den där förkylningen igen. Den gör mig tjock i huvudet.)
Hur som helst, jag tänkte att jag skulle försöka beta av de där hundratals och åter hundratals blogginläggen jag har i läsaren efter bästa förmåga. Och eftersom jag vet att en del av mina läsare inte följer många av de bloggarna jag följer, så tänkte jag skriva några korta rader här om sådant som jag tycker är intressant för allmänheten att veta. Ett slags länktipsdumpande alltså. Håll till godo.

♦ Anna Troberg förklarar varför film är bättre hemma, och inte på bio. En rolig bit av texten:
Så, var är film bäst år 2008? Självklart hemma i soffan. Alla som påstår något annat ljuger. Det förvånar mig faktiskt lite att filmbranschen ännu inte gått ut och försökt förbjuda projektorer och surroundsystem för hemmabruk och sköna soffor, varma täcken, trevliga husdjur och flickvänner. De är nämligen ett långt mycket större hot mot biografnäringen än vad fildelningen någonsin kommer att bli.
En mindre humoristisk, men klart intressantare bit av texten:
Den blödande filmbranschen har ökat sin dvd-försäljning från ca 10,5 miljoner till 38,5 miljoner från 2003 till 2007. Vilken annan bransch som helst skulle känna sig ganska nöjd med en sådan ökning.
Antalet biobesök ligger på ungefär samma antal som för tio år sedan, trots att priset för en biobiljett gått upp en hel del. Det är inte heller fy skam.
Antalet biografer har sjunkit ganska kraftigt, antalet biostolar har inte sjunkit lika mycket. Av det kan man anta att de stora biografpalatsen brer ut sig och konkurrerar ut de små biograferna. Något att tänka på för de små biografägare som skyller all sin olycka på fildelare.
Antalet biobesök är ungefär detsamma som för tio år sedan, medan folk tittar långt mycket mer på dvd, vilket stödjer min lilla teori om att film, trots filmbranschens urgamla slogan, faktiskt är bäst hemma.
Både hyr och köpmarknaden för dvd:er har bokstavligen exploderat de senaste tio åren.
Hon tar i princip orden ur munnen på mig, vilket är rätt praktiskt för nu kan jag bara länka till henne istället för att skriva ett eget inlägg om det.
♦ Anna Troberg igen. Den här gången vill hon understryka att 2008 ser ut att bli ett riktigt skitår.
Om vi inte agerar fort, så ser det faktiskt inte bättre ut än att vi alla kommer att se tillbaka på annus horribili 2008 och konstatera att detta var året när allt barkade åt helvete.
Vad hon syftar på är så klart sådant som FRA-lagen, Piratjägarlagen (IPRED1), och det faktum att det finns en verklig risk att EU inom en inte alltför avlägsen framtid kommer börja stänga av internettillgången för folk som ertappas med att fildela upphovsrättsskyddat material.
♦ Rumptroll skriver om att komvuxstudenter ska få det svårare. Hon är inte överförtjust. Inte jag heller.
- Det ska vara lite bättre och prioriterat för dem som ansträngde sig i skolan framför dem som inte gjorde det. Aktiviteten att höja sina gymnasiebetyg är ett enormt samhällsekonomiskt slöseri, säger Bertil Östberg, statssekreterare på utbildningsdepartementet.

Jag gick själv på komvux, efter att ha hamnat snett under gymnasietiden i samband med att min mamma dog. Ännu ett inlägg jag slipper skriva alltså, eftersom jag skriver under på varje ord som redan sagts.
♦ Enligt min humla kommenterar en metroblogg angående FRA-lagen, där författaren visar sig tillräckligt IQ-befriad för att gå på det smått debila “Jag har ingenting att dölja”-argumentet.
Hennes krönika innehåller i stort sett alla närsynta, egocentriska skitargument som gång på gång sågats under sommaren. Inget nytt under solen alltså. Till exempel försöker hon kamma hem en poäng på att folk gladeligen bloggar om personliga saker och pratar högt i mobiltelefon på bussen, men när staten vill övervaka oss blir vi plötsligt upprörda. Wallin har uppenbarligen helt missat att det är skillnad på att knulla och att bli våldtagen.

Nu är jag trött och tänker avbryta det här. De resterande 316 olästa bloggposterna ska jag försöka beta av de kommande dagarna – det borde finnas åtminstone några som är värda att skriva en rad eller två om.
(Ska kanske nämna att det är under förutsättning att orken och schemat tillåter, så klart. Jag måste ju bland annat även börja flyttpaketera alla mina saker, mindre än tre veckor kvar till flytten nu…)

His show doesn’t even break the Top 20 in Cable TV ratings. He is simply unwatchable due to his hectoring the guests and constantly interrupting him. I don’t see why people go on his show – they never get to talk. Olbermann was entertaining at times yet he took himself way too seriously and I’m glad to see someone burst his little bubble he created for himself and got away with for several years there on MSNBC – The Home of Sarah Palin Bashing 24/7 (except when Lockup reruns are on).
