I used to be questioning if you ever considered modifying the layout of the blog page? Its quite well written; I really like just what youve got to express. However perhaps you might a tad bit more in the form of written content so folks could connect with it better. You have got a lot of text for merely getting a couple of images. Maybe you might space it out much better?

I totally agree , I absolutely hate the “Hey there, I subscribed to your RSS Feed” type of comments on my blog. HOWEVER I do get a kick out of comment spam that has absolutely no benefit for the guy spamming , broken links , no anchor text ,ect. I guess I should be upset a little more about it , but akismet is so great about catching things any more.
