En gång i tiden hade jag någonting emot bloggfenomenet. Eller åtminstone mot hypen kring det. Som jag såg det så var det ju bara vanliga hemsidor av ett visst format.
Det tog dock inte många sekunder efter att jag uttalat min skepsis innan en bekant hade fått mig att inse att det inte var riktigt hela sanningen. Poängen med att skriva i en blogg jämfört med att skriva samma saker på samma sätt på en mer ordinär websida är ju framför allt att det är enkelt, och att det därigenom demokratiserar kommunikationen. Och det är ju någonting jag gjort mig känd för att förespråka.
(Inte för att det är så där fruktansvärt svårt att lära sig hur man gör hemsidor själv, i och för sig.)
Efter att ha skämts i någon minut så var jag i princip helt mentalt redo att tro på hypen. Men den där punkiga DIY-andan sitter djupt rotad i mig, så jag bestämde mig för att koda ihop min egen blogg. (Jag fuskar lite med PHP+MySQL ibland när jag hinner).
Det gick väl rätt hyfsat. Jag fick ihop någonting som fungerade dugligt men som saknade de flesta mer avancerade funktioner som bloggar oftast är utrustade med. Tanken var att jag skulle utöka bloggen med dessa allteftersom – i mån av tid.
Men sedan fick jag ett jobb – så då sket det sig. :)
Men nu har jag till slut fallit till föga och skaffat mig en standardiserad färdigförpackad blogg. Att det blev på just Blogger är mest för att jag redan hade en Google-inloggning klar, på grund av att Gmail är en sjuhelsikes bra webmailtjänst.
Edit: Som du kan se så använder jag inte Blogger längre. Wordpress på eget serverutrymme är ju så klart en mycket bättre lösning i längden.

Well, on the one hand I think we live in a world where we continue to push the delaying of (in effort to remove) consequences for our actions. So on the note of making doctors accountable for their services, I agree that its worthy of attention although Im not sure the plan of attack is the best/right method. Mostly because the factors of the equation are blame game at best, and both sides display a level of desire to point a finger or have someone else be responsible for things that are painful or at least hard to bear.
